Personal Background

As a resident of this area for more than 30 years, I have had opportunity to be part of many aspects of community life. Through the years, I have been involved in such community activities as serving on the Chamber of Commerce, being a parent member of Plainview School District's Committee for Special Education, volunteering each year for the Memorial Day Parade Committee, serving on the board of Caring for Caregivers, and as a member of the Long Island League to Abolish Cancer (LILAC), as well as being involved for many years as a trustee on the board of Manetto Hill Jewish Center. I'm a graduate of the Hunter College School of Nursing, I'm married with 3 grown children and several grandchildren.
